On 2 October 2026, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced that the US Department of War (DoW) had granted Conditional Approval for selected uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), routers and advanced robotic devices.
The approved products include the Dronus K500L drone, Vivid-Hosting VH-109 routers and Matic robotic floor cleaner. These products are now exempt from the FCC Covered List, which identifies equipment considered a national security risk.
The exemptions remain subject to manufacturers following their approved onshoring plans and, where applicable, ongoing product checks. Approval may be withdrawn if these conditions are not met or false information is identified.

The FCC has updated its Covered List to reflect these approvals.
